Our Story…
The Hotel de la Plage is a historical place, protected heritage, present on the Place des Landais for more than a century. It is a Hossegorian institution.
Since 2001, the Mangiarotti family has been at the head of the establishment and has since had the privilege of welcoming guests to the Hotel de la Plage. The Mangiarotti brothers will also be delighted to share with you and discuss their respective passions of surfing and jet skiing.
Indeed, accomplished sportsmen and internationally recognized in the world of surfing and jet skiing, Alexandre was awarded the title of world champion of free ride jet ski 2017 and Guillaume Mangiarottti former professional surfer with a well-filled record is now a free surfer and big wave hunter.
With its idyllic location, professional team and the reputation of the Mangiarotti family, the beach hotel is the place to be.
We have had many visits from surfing guest stars, including Tom Curren, who is a regular here, as well as TV film shoots in our hotel and a report on the beach hotel by tf1 (Grand Reportage) broadcast in July 2016 and rebroadcast in June 2017.
Our establishment is also at the forefront of the most famous events on the west coast, such as the Latinossegor, the Quik Pro France and the Ronde des Sables.

The manager, Guillaume, will now be able to share his experience and passion with you via his new surf school within the hotel. Benefit from a unique formula with direct access to the beach and the ocean.
Involved since 2001 in the local life of Hossegor, we will be very happy to help you benefit from our vast network, in order to put you in touch with companies offering leisure or sports activities, such as Stand Up Paddle, Yoga, jet skiing, golf or tennis.

The possibility of not using your car during your stay because the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and its shops. And you can also take advantage of the kilometres of cycle track on the coast.
Shopping, the numerous shops (all the surfing brands are represented, but also the big names and our famous multi-brand shops where you will find all the big names in ready-to-wear), the market and the famous market are in the centre of Hossegor, only 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
