Our Story…
The Hotel de la Plage is a historical place, protected heritage, present on the Place des Landais for more than a century. It is a Hossegorian institution.
Since 2001, the Mangiarotti family has been at the head of the establishment and has since had the privilege of welcoming guests to the Hotel de la Plage. The Mangiarotti brothers will also be delighted to share with you and discuss their respective passions of surfing and jet skiing.
Indeed, accomplished sportsmen and internationally recognized in the world of surfing and jet skiing, Alexandre was awarded the title of world champion of free ride jet ski 2017 and Guillaume Mangiarottti former professional surfer with a well-filled record is now a free surfer and big wave hunter.
With its idyllic location, professional team and the reputation of the Mangiarotti family, the beach hotel is the place to be.
We have had many visits from surfing guest stars, including Tom Curren, who is a regular here, as well as TV film shoots in our hotel and a report on the beach hotel by tf1 (Grand Reportage) broadcast in July 2016 and rebroadcast in June 2017.
Our establishment is also at the forefront of the most famous events on the west coast, such as the Latinossegor, the Quik Pro France and the Ronde des Sables.

Involved since 2001 in the local life of Hossegor, we will be very happy to help you benefit from our vast network, in order to put you in touch with companies offering leisure or sports activities, such as Stand Up Paddle, Yoga, jet skiing, golf or tennis.

The possibility of not using your car during your stay because the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and its shops. And you can also take advantage of the kilometres of cycle track on the coast.
Shopping, the numerous shops (all the surfing brands are represented, but also the big names and our famous multi-brand shops where you will find all the big names in ready-to-wear), the market and the famous market are in the centre of Hossegor, only 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Nathalie29/09/2023A fabulous stay lulled by the magic of the ocean. Superb stay in this small family hotel. Excellent welcome from the team and fabulous location. The breakfast is simply exceptional (the pastries are to die for) with a view of the ocean, a change of scenery guaranteed as soon as you wake up, a real pleasure! We had booked late and our room did not overlook the ocean but it was cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway. We will definitely return to this house of happiness. On se sent comme à la maison. Le petit-déjeuner est fait avec des produits locaux ce qui le rend excellent pour bien commencer la journée. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour faire diverses activités. chantcarr28/03/2023Tout est parfait Excellent emplacement si près de la plage. Parking à proximité et gratuit. Accueil très sympathique et agréable. Balcon (petit) est très appréciable. La chambre très propre, bien décorée. Un petit bémol s il en fallait un, serait la taille de la sdb. Pour une personne seule ça passe malgré tout. De bons conseils pour les restaurants alentours à 5 mn à pied. Petit dej copieux et bien garni. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Ce sera mon camp de base lorsque je reviendrai à Hossegor.vérifié
Valérie V16/10/2022Idéal pour profiter de l’océan Personnel et maîtres des lieux extrêmement sympathiques. Hôtel idéalement situé, en bord de plage et de la place des landais. Décoration raffinée sans être impersonnelle. Les chambres avec vue sur l’océan : c’est juste du bonheur. (si vous aimez vraiment le calme, préférez les chambres côté cour - la place des Landais juste à côté est animée le soir). Literie très confortable. Petit déjeuner goûteux et copieux. Frans de Bruijnj25/09/2022nous sommes venues pour trois nuits, quattre jours le chambre etait tres bien, avec une grande terrasse et vue du mer. Il y avait une bagnoir et une WC dans une piece separee et le lit grande et comfortable. le seul negative etait le manque de WIFI (internet), annuncé dans l'internet du hotel.
